About Us
Hey there ...
It's really quite simple; we were born to be translators. Beyond it being a mere vocation, we have been jumping from one language to the other since before we even knew how to write.
And the idea that we can use this ability to help others, well that's just the icing on the cake!
So, it comes quite naturally for us to want to help our Clients, whom we see as our partners in this journey, transcend any possible limitation as pertains to communicating in a different language.

Over two warm lattés in a Mile-End café in 2006, we had a simultaneous epiphany: bring people together by breaking through any languages barriers that may exist and encouraging open, flowing communication ~ only then could we be the change we want to see in the world.
And so, powered by coffee and inspired by the idea that we could help bring people together, we created Traductions Telicus, a boutique translation agency that carries and conveys your message, so that others may hear it and understand it in their hearts.

With a passion for health, well-being and creating a balanced lifestyle, green living is something I take to heart. So, it's no surprise that my focus is on renewable energy, sustainable resources and ways of reducing our carbon footprint.
​
With a solid scientific background in biology, chemistry and genetics, as well as a penchant for environmental sciences, I am always looking for ways to make the world a better place. I have a Bachelors Degree in Translation and Modern Languages, and am an OTTIAQ-certified translator.
​
I also enjoy strawberry daquiris!
With a true passion for the written word, ancient and obscure languages and past civilizations, it's no surprise that I hold a Bachelors Degree in English Literature and Classical & Indo-European Linguistics, as well as a Masters Degree in Classical Linguistics.
​
Having graduated with great distinction and as the recipient of numerous academic scholarships and awards, one thing rings true: there is no such thing as a dead language and ancient history is truly epic.

I am also avid fan of coffee!

At Traductions Telicus, we are committed to doing our part to ensure that we leave this world better off than we found it. So, we feel quite fortunate to have been able to join with Moisson Montréal and contribute to their struggle in reducing poverty and hunger, well as link up with Les Elles de la Construction in paving the way for women's inclusion and participation in a predominantly male-dominated industry. What's more, we are quite proud to be able to do our part and support our local Fire Fighters Association, Provincial Police Federation and Nurses' Association in their efforts to improve our community.
As a business, we have been supporting local organizations and women's groups, promoting safer and more sustainable environmental technologies and contributing to a fair-trade economy since 2006. Whether it relates to greener energies, increased biodiversity, safer and more sustainable mining and quarrying processes and soil decontamination, we are proud to have partnered with innovative companies to help protect our natural world. Taking action for a brighter, greener and more sustainable future!

From the moment we take on a project, until its final delivery, our clients are involved as much - or as little - as they desire. Our passion for translation and bridging the language barrier always keeps the path of communication open; since it's only by being present and engaged that we can ensure a continuous improvement in both our services and ourselves.
Moreover, the spirit of collaboration can only truly exist in the presence of kindness and generosity. Having compassion for one another, giving our attention, our time and our energy, allows us to connect with others and foster feelings of happiness, optimism and community.
